Iron Man has been trying to stop Korvac from acquiring god-like powers, as the villain's mission to steal cosmic energies from Taa II has reached its climax. In a new preview for Iron Man #13, the longtime Avenger meets up with his team from Earth inside Galalactus' home base and realizes one of his only options to stop Korvac might be by nuking Taa II. Tony Stark's deadly quest to stop Korvac from stealing the powers of Galactus' worldship has led Iron Man to a new potential idea to end the conflict: blowing up Taa II.
